However It is very unlikely that patients will be able to access CBD under the new law. A doctor would have to issue a “written order” for marijuana, and doing so would violate federal law. The new law also fails to include a source for CBD. It does not make it legal for anyone to produce the marijuana that CBD would be extracted from in the state.\n\nandrewvanmd","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10097-markdown","title":"How do I get a medical marijuana card in Colorado?","slug":"how-do-i-get-a-medical-marijuana-card-in-colorado","content":"\n_____________________\nTo be be eligible for a medical marijuana card in Colorado you must:\nBe a Colorado resident\nBe 18 or older\nHave a qualifying medical condition:\nCancer\nGlaucoma\nHIV or AIDS\nCachexia\nPersistent muscle spasms\nSeizures\nSevere nausea\nSevere pain\nPost Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).\n\nFor more information on how to apply for a medical marijuana card in Colorado, please visit: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/cdphe/how-apply-colorado-medical-marijuana-card\n\ntatiananp","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10093-markdown","title":"I have been diagnosed stage 4 adeno carcinoma NSCLC. Any Cannabis Oil personal testimonials here? ","slug":"i-have-been-diagnosed-stage-4-adeno-carcinoma-nsclc-any-cannabis-oil-personal-testimonials-here","content":"\n_____________________\nSince you are asking for a personal testimonial, I will provide mine but keep in mind that anyone's personal testimonial is just their story and should not be used by anyone else to justify their use of cannabis because everyone potentially responds differently to the use of cannabis. \nSince I have used and educated patients in the use of cannabis for years, when I first started having symptoms that I thought were related to potential cancer, I started taking high doses (~84mg daily) of CBD's in hopes of keeping the cancer from spreading until I could get it diagnosed and treated. It turned out that my cancer is a very deadly kind of cancer and it took the doctors more than two months to finally look where I asked them to look, and they found the cancer, I had adenocarcinoma ovarian cancer. The cancer was huge, 15 cm at the time of surgery, but the cancer had not spread and all my lymph nodes were negative so I have a very high likelihood (~85%) of living beyond five years. CBDs are supposed to slow the growth of cancers and reduce the likelihood of spread but THC is also toxic to cancer, I just can't function well on high THC, so iIf I did a product with higher THC I would do it after work followed by CBD's bedtime.\nI encourage you to do what feels right to you but I would not hesitate to tell you to put more CBD in your treatment schedule and watch the research studies. We have an excellent article on CBD and the use with cancer on our website so please, start exploring. Keep a positive frame of mind and do not let others plant negative thoughts in your head, because as I tell my doctors, \"it is hard to do a negative-ectomy on my brain!\" Your body wants to be well so you must give it the nutrients to keep it well and start to explore how you ended up with cancer to begin with since it is likely a small defect in your genetic chart that may need nutrients and cannabis to help your genetic chart function correctly. Exploring your health and survival is a good challenge but do not worry, stay in present moment, and support your immune system and you likely will extend your life and be much happier.\n\ndrolson","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10086-markdown","title":"Cannabis sometimes makes me depressed. How do I alleviate that symptom?","slug":"cannabis-sometimes-makes-me-depressed-how-do-i-alleviate-that-symptom","content":"\n_____________________\nCannabis is generally considered a depressant. As a result, it can cause you to feel slowed down, and even down in the dumps. Some studies have suggested that cannabis's mood elevating properties are more impactful at low doses, while high doses of cannabis can create poor moods after long term, heavy use.\n\nCannabis is also highly variable from strain to strain. I have found strains that are outright miserable to smoke and some that just leave me wanted anything else. It is also possible, that from time to time, you are finding strains that you do not enjoy and that there are others that you do. \n\nYou could also find that you are predisposed to depression and that it seems like the cannabis is causing this, but actually it is just coming through when you consume the plant.\n\nTaking these three chunks of info into consideration, I try to monitor my moods and strains together to draw any correlating conclusions from my own use. It could be that you are not finding the best strains, it could also be the amount of cannabis that you use, and it could also just be your own body. \n\nTo alleviate this  I would take a journal of my moods and cannabis use in a set period of time. Try to see what correlates and see what you find about yourself.\n\nryan\n_____________________\nI have noticed that strong Indica strains can sometimes lead to deep personal reflection and thought which can be a downer and considered \"depressing\"- it is important to remember that people all react differently to cannabis so one strain that is an anti-depresent for one person may not work perfectly for yourself. \n\nI would recommend remembering the strain name that made you feel depressed and stay away from that one particular kind. Hope this helps :)\n\nBartSmart","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10085-markdown","title":"How much THC and CBD are in Sweet Releaf cannabis salve?","slug":"how-much-thc-and-cbd-are-in-sweet-releaf-cannabis-salve","content":"","image":null}}]}},"pageContext":{"limit":12,"skip":504,"numPages":63,"currentPage":43,"id":5052,"name":"Cannabis","slug":"cannabis","country":"US"}},"staticQueryHashes":["3949754563","4179947113","4202924991"]}
