By continuing to apply the topical every hour during my waking hours, my pain completely resolved in 1 week and the pain never returned. I used a topical that was close to 1:1 but just slightly dominant in CBD. Although, in a study published in the British Journal of Pharmacology, researchers found that chronic administration of CBD prevents paclitaxel-induced neuropathy (PAC) (paclitaxel is a common chemotherapy agent which often causes neuropathic pain). Interestingly, they found that the cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2 were not involved in preventing the pain from developing. I agree with Dr. Kim's very nice answer. Since your daughter is 10, I would recommend she try CBD rich products since they are less psychoactive. CBD is a powerful antiinflammatory compound, which often helps with inflammatory bowel diseases. A tiny bit of THC helps the CBD to work more effectively. I might suggest you try a ratio of at least 12:1 CBD to THC in a sublingual tincture. Start with a couple drops and observe the effects. You can increase the dose if necessary over time. Hope this helps.
