Hemp CBD Oil or cannabis CBD oil?","slug":"what-is-more-effective-hemp-cbd-oil-or-cannabis-cbd-oil","content":"\n_____________________\nTHC is the psychoactive cannabinoid that is responsible for the high that is associated with marijuana. CBD on the other hand is non-psychoactive, but has plenty of therapeutic uses. Hemp oil is an alternative to medical marijuana for those who are interested in using CBD but are looking to avoid the negative effects of psychoactive THC. The major differences between the hemp plant and marijuana is the difference in concentration of CBD and THC cannabinoids. Generally, the hemp plant contains more CBD than THC, while marijuana contains more THC than CBD. Hemp CBD is a very effective dietary supplement or as a pain reliever. But, USE ONLY Organic hemp extracts and always look for clear labeling. They're both effective. One may be more effective than the other from person to person.\n\nnptherasse","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8261-markdown","title":"Can I take CBD tincture with diabetes medication and ibuprofen?","slug":"can-i-take-cbd-tincture-with-diabetes-medication-and-ibuprofen","content":"\"I'd like to use a 20:1 CBD:THC tincture. Is it best to use in the morning?\"\n_____________________\nYes, you can continue your diabetes medication and ibuprofen. A CBD:THC ratio of 20:1 twice daily works to decrease inflammation nicely. After using it for 2-3 weeks and continuing it...your blood sugars will begin to regulate and your inflammation will decrease as well, so that you will not have to take the Ibuprofen as much!\n\ndrb","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8248-markdown","title":"Does hemp CBD oil interfere with Coumadin?","slug":"does-hemp-cbd-oil-interfere-with-coumadin","content":"\"I have breast cancer and a clotting problem. This affect tends to be more realized when initially starting to use cannabis or stopping cannabis. We also know that eating different foods can also affect your INR, and is adjusted for with your blood level checks. Can Hemp oil (CBD) be given with this problem?","slug":"breast-cancer-with-a-clotting-problem-on-coumadin-can-hemp-oil-cbd-be-given-with-this-problem","content":"\n_____________________\nThere have not been enough studies don't to indicate that cannabis can increase the chance of bleeding, but it is suggested that you take caution when combining cannabis and blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs, including warfarin (Coumadin), heparin, and clopidogrel (Plavix). Hemp could increase the anticoagulant effect of blood thinners by inhibiting its metabolism. It directly affects the anticoagulant properties of platelets in the blood. Therefore it naturally acts as a blood thinner and should rather be a replacement for blood thinning meds. More studies and understanding of Cannabis oil is needed. The lack of knowledge of how to use medical marijuana effectively leads to the advice of rather not using cannabis oils for patients using blood thinners for their clotting deficiency or other cardiac medical conditions. Please follow up with your primary care provider with this concern and seek his medical opinion.\n\nnptherasse","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8245-markdown","title":"Can you use Charlotte Web CBD oil as a topical?","slug":"can-you-use-charlotte-web-cbd-oil-as-a-topical","content":"\n_____________________\nYes ,Charlotte Web CBD oil can be used as a topical. CBD oil could help one taper off Valium, in theory, but it depends on your reasons for taking Valium, as it can be used for many conditions. As always, I recommend discussing your desire to taper off the pharmaceutical with the practitioner who prescribed it to you so that you both can design a plan for you to come off of it safely. These are three CNN documentaries you can watch on YouTube about using CBD for seizures in children. I love care bye designs products but I think when you're treating seizures you need a more exact dosing technique. I would not hesitate to recommend Jayden's Juice because it comes in a bottle with a measured dropper and you should keep records as to how much is used and the response obtained at each dosage.\nOf course you must have an interview with a physician or NP and with your mother present to obtain a card for her to legally use CBD's and you could be a caretaker for your mother but you must also be present for the interview.\n\ndrolson","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8207-markdown","title":"I was told that 15mg cbd twice a day is standard therapy for cysts. Should I add THC and if so how much? ","slug":"i-was-told-that-15mg-cbd-twice-a-day-is-standard-therapy-for-cysts-should-i-add-thc-and-if-so-how-much","content":"\n_____________________\nI am very surprised you would have been told that any dose of cannabis is 'standard therapy' since I do not believe any clinical trials have been conducted to determine any 'standard therapy' for cysts. There are many kinds of cysts that can form in the body so is the cyst in the thyroid, liver, kidney, ovary, muscle or where is the cyst located since that would give an indication as to the severity of the cyst. Cysts maybe present because of a parasite, an infection, a foreign body tissue reaction or even cancer and all of these would be treated differently. It is true that CBDs do tend to stop inflammation but you would not want to treat a cyst without knowing what kind of cyst it is and how it should be treated. I do agree with treating a cyst with CBD but please, do have the cyst diagnosed and at least listen to the doctor's recommendations, you can always 'sleep on it' and make your decision. \nWhen I had a large ovarian cyst that proved to be cancer, I was taking 100mg of CBD every night and it did keep the cancer from spreading but it did not stop the cyst from growing and it was huge when I had the cancer removed and the cancer cells appeared to be dying but we do not have the studies needed to prove that cannabis is enough and Western medical care is still recommended. I should live because of the combination care that I received and Cannabis was a vital part of my care and I am a strong cannabis believer but I would never have trusted cannabis alone to save my life with such an aggressive cancer. Please, be wise about your use of cannabis and do consider seeking a Western medical diagnosis with a doctor you trust.\n\ndrolson","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8206-markdown","title":" What's the best dosing & ratio of CBD to THC to wean off of anxiety medications?","slug":"whats-the-best-dosing-ratio-of-cbd-to-thc-to-wean-off-of-anxiety-medications","content":"\"I'm currently on a low dose of the anxiety medication buspirone.\"\n_____________________\nHello! I would start with a high CBD/low THC ratio product such as a 20:1 (CBD:THC). This ratio is generally helpful for anxiety and causes minimal side effects. I would recommend you look into vaporized cannabis or cannabis sublingual tincture, using the minimal dose of 1-2 drops or puffs at the beginning. As always, it's best that you communicate with the provider that prescribed you the pharmaceutical to let them know you are planning to wean off the medication so that they can give you appropriate advice on how to do so safely.
