Always organic seems to work the best for my nerve pain. I was extremly against smoking and my boyfriend finally talked me into trying the pen. Now i have 2 and they are always with me. Wow. I couldnt believe how well the pen works. Just a few puffs and i can feel the pain going away then i can go about my activities. It doesnt affect my head at all. I also use cbd capsules. U can get them with no thc in them. The pen for immediate relief and the capsules to help u stay pain free for longer.\n\nsraelane\n_____________________\nDoses will vary a lot based on the individual and the type of CBD medication you are trying to use. I want to follow up and ask what are you taking before I try and help suggest what to do. It will be helpful to know if you are trying tinctures, or flowers, or pills etc. and what ratios they are. My answer will depend heavily on what medicines you have tried that have left you feeling this way.\n\nI will also say that anxiety is a very motivating emotion that causes people to act on a situation. As your anxiety drops with the CBD, you may feel less on edge and have a less of a drive to immediately react to situations as a result of adjusting to your reduced levels of anxiety.\n\nryan","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7052-markdown","title":"Do i need a card to purchase CBD oil","slug":"do-i-need-a-card-to-purchase-cbd-oil","content":"\n_____________________\nIf you buy hemp-based CBD oil (low in THC or/and CBD) you will not need a card; however, to purchase cannabis plant-based CBD oil (rich in THC or/and CBD) you will need a medical marijuana card. Hemp oil, unlike cannabis oil has only trace amounts of THC and CBD, and therefore will be 100 times less potent than cannabis oil.\n\ndrb","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7050-markdown","title":"WHY A 1:1 RATIO OF CBD TO THC","slug":"why-a-1-1-ratio-of-cbd-to-thc","content":"\n_____________________\nRatios for CBD to THC typically come in a variety of ratios. Some of the most common are: 1:1, 4:1, 8:1, 18:1, 20:1 nd a very high ration of 28:1. People will often talk about the entourage effect when discussing why to use CBD with THC. You can read about that here:\n\nhttps://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/what-is-the-entourage-effect\n\nWhy to choose a higher ratio of THC with CBD is a personal choice and can also be a choice based of the overall effect you want to create. A 1:1 may be slightly psychoactive for some and may also provide more instantaneous pain relief. I treat my migraines with a high ratio of CBD to THC using a 20:1 several times a day. I choose this as it is both preventative for me and not psychoactive.\n\nBoth CBD and THC are considered to have their own therapeutic properties. I might suggest reading this article as well:\n\nI am not a doctor and this represents my opinion only. May I ask about your dosing regimen? How much are you taking and how often? Are you taking other medications as well? Are you under a doctor's care? \n\nMeanwhile, I would also consider using some of our topicals, such as rubbing the balm on your chest and over the bridge of your nose as a bronchodilator. A soak in Cannabis infused epsom salts before bed might help as well. But none of this should replace your medical regimen or counter your doctor's advice.\n\nI will be back as soon as possible. Thank you for your question.\n\nxternal\n_____________________\nI'm sorry this may be an obvious question but are you currently using a CPAP or postive airway pressure device to keep your airways open? If you haven't been able to tolerate it in the past may I recommend that you slightly increase your CBN and THC dose as tolerated to allow you to cont using your CPAP machine. Of course, cont. to exercise daily anad also check out some sleep hygiene/ prep tips from SleepAssociation.org & SleepFoundation.org. What's the difference and which works better for pain?","slug":"cbd-vs-thc-whats-the-difference-and-which-works-better-for-pain","content":"\n_____________________\nI need a prescription for inflammation of my joints.\nThat Candyland sounds like my solution. What do you need to help me to get a scrip?\n\ndali\n_____________________\nThanks for asking this question as it does come up often. When addressing pain, the answer is that THC works far better for pain relief than just CBD alone. If fact, pain relief is the main effect that THC seems to deliver in whatever form it is taken. The raw form of THC, called THCA is also very good for inflammation which when applied results in pain relief as well.\nCBD on the other hand, is extremely good for seizures, muscle spasms, depression, anxiety, and also for inflammation. I have heard athletes say they tried pure CBD oil on neck pain & it didn't help but when using THC they got the pain relief they were looking for. A combination of THC & CBD is also a very good option.\n\ndidi\n_____________________\nIt does. I'm sure because it works on the central nervous system. It helps me with anxiety and pain and I am more focused. Sleep is still a difficult issue. I've tried a variety recommended by others, but it's still challenging.\n\nriss\n_____________________\nCBD topicals can work great for pain relief. It's important to know if the whole marijuana plant is used in the topical or not. Terpenes play a huge role in providing what's called the entourage effect. A CBD hemp derived product will provide a different effect than a marijuana CBD product that uses a high CBD strain. You also want to check the product for ingredients like essential oils which help to alleviate pain and inflammation. Lavender, frankincense, and peppermint are just a few which help to relieve pain. CBD topicals from marijuana can be a little challenging to find.\n\nOral CBD tinctures can help internally to decrease systemic inflammation.\n\nchearpear","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7021-markdown","title":"when making cbd tincture in alcohol, can you leave the cannabis in the tincture for longer periods of time","slug":"when-making-cbd-tincture-in-alcohol-can-you-leave-the-cannabis-in-the-tincture-for-longer-periods-of-time","content":"\n_____________________\nWell there are a variety of ways to make a high CBD tincture. We recently wrote an article on this topic:\n\nhttps://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/diy-make-a-high-cbd-cannabis-tincture\n\nI think the key is is if you are starting with raw cannabis it is recommended that you decarboxylate it as this activates the THC and CBD. After this, at least in our recipe we suggest that you leave it for 2-3 weeks in a cool dark place and shake it every now again.\n\nPlease know that you will not be able to know what your dosage is accurately from this, so start low and slow until you know how much CBD and THC works for you.\n\nI am not a doctor and this post represents my opinion only. THC-A is THC that has not undergone a chemical change to become a psychoactive compound. As a result, it will not cause you to feel \"high.\" If it is heated it will become THC and cause a high. The CBD will not cause an intrusive psychoactive effect regardless of the temperature.\n\nryan","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7014-markdown","title":"I have really bad Nueropathy in my hands. This is a much faster route of administration than other edibles that have to be digested and processed by your stomach and liver before being distributed to the rest of your body.\n\nIf your condition does not require fast-acting relief you can definitely consume the tincture any way you like by adding to a drink or food. At Sessions we sell coconut oil-based tinctures that are great for this! Just keep in mind this will delay onset of effects.\n\nFor fastest onset, try dropping the tincture under your tongue, holding it there for 5 to 10 seconds, and then swishing it around a bit before swallowing. This will allow some of the active cannabinoids in the tincture to be absorbed directly through the blood vessels in your mouth which means more rapid distribution to the cannabinoid receptors throughout your body.\n\nbenson","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_6969-markdown","title":"Do you ever utilize hemp to source your CBD? ","slug":"do-you-ever-utilize-hemp-to-source-your-cbd","content":"\"What is the difference between hemp derived and non-hemp CBD?\"\n_____________________\nThis is a good question. The DEA's definition of a hemp based product is that it contains less than .03 per cent THC, regardless of the origin. So, the simple answer is that when isolated you can not tell the difference between them. Chemically, they are identical. However, the sourcing, manufacturing, and efficacy make things more complicated. Pro- cannabis CBD proponents state that using a full plant extract from the marijuana plant provides greater healing because of the entourage effect, meaning you are getting the full spectrum of cannabinoids as nature provides them - and they work better together than individually. They also posit that it takes so much concentrated CBD from hemp that heaving metals are concentrated into the hemp based CBD from the dirt. In short, you can get organic tested hemp based CBD; I have seen CBD isolate work the entourage effect notwithstanding. If employment drug testing, a desire to not get high, or a chronic disease is what ails you (as opposed to stage 4 cancer) starting with hemp based CBD is a safe and effective way to start. If things don't improve, then perhaps switch to cannabis based whole plant extract or tincture. .\n\ndneice","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_6964-markdown","title":"Where do I find this?","slug":"where-do-i-find-this","content":"\"I am currently using a CBD only pen and a CBD dominant flower.
