Looking at the current literature for cluster HA treatment, I would say the tincture drops you are using can be used as soon as HA symptoms start. As for dosage, I go by the old adage \"less is more.\"; try using tincture drops and adding them SL (sublingual--> under the tongue) or try adding them to non-caffeinated chamomile tea (it might taste better). Titrate until effect; that is slowly add more tincture drops until you have achieved a blood level where symptoms are managed but don't go over this amount. This \"titration point\" will differ with every individual based on body weight , tolerance/ exposure to cannabinoids, and other factors. I would advise using cann every single day as tolerance/ risk of psych dependency &/or abuse can also happen. You might also want to talk to your MD about oxygen therapy for the home or trying a safe blood pressure medicine also used for cluster HA's called verapamil for prophylaxis. I would like to know what the best way is to use CBD oil for this purpose; what dosage, how often and for how long? Also, how much should I begin with and what brands are the purest and most effective?\"\n_____________________\nI'm so sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with cancer-- I hope that your medical team has been able to help you work through the treatment options. Cannabis can be used for cancer therapy in a couple different ways. First, patients find cannabis can help with pain from the cancer itself, or from side effects of chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy such as nausea, pain, or sleeplessness. Second, often patients also wonder if cannabis can help with treating the cancer itself, i.e. killing cancer cells, and your question seems to be more related to this aspect. Preliminary animal and lab studies indicate that cannabinoids such as CBD can assist your body in inducing cancer cell death and limiting their ability to spread/grow. Here is one article you could start with: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3579246/ The exact dose is difficult to translate to humans, but it is likely hundreds of milligrams a day. Fortunately, oral doses of up to 700 mg a day are well-tolerated. CBD is available in many forms, but for these higher doses most people find they would take it orally as opposed to inhalation for instance. Some studies suggest that CBD and THC can work synergistically (meaning that treatment is more effective when used together than either one alone), so incorporating THC is likely to augment the CBD effects if that is something you want to consider. As far as a specific brand, look for products that are lab-tested and make the testing results available to you so that you can verify the potency and safety.\n\ndrbultman\n_____________________\n My mother was diagnosed in May of 2013 with stage 4 Cancer. She was given 3 to 6 months to live, not because of spreading but because of the location of the tumor, it is abutting the aorta. she is 53 and also has MS.I succeeded in saving her life by getting Rick Simpson Oil from this guy in California. You can contact him if interested in getting some Oil:Email... tplug05 at gmail dot com Or Phone.....+1(559)420-0769 . \n\nalison leton","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9950-markdown","title":"I started using CBD oil for chronic pain. I really want to not have to take opiates. Thank you! \n\"\n_____________________\nChronic pain is one of the most common reasons that people use cannabis. Most of the time a combination of CBD with THC has been found to be most effective. The entourage effect of both of the cannabinoids working together seems to give the best relief. The CBD alone may help with inflammation but adding some THC and slowly increasing the amount to get the desired pain relief would be the best way to go. There are different ratios of CBD:THC that are available either as a tincture or vape cartridge that can help with pain. Some are marketed and label specifically for chronic pain but you need start with a low amount and again, slowly increase since everyone reacts differently.\n\nPerry Solomon, MD\n_____________________\nHave you ever felt sick to your stomach after taking CBD oil? \n\n\n\namanda0115","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9871-markdown","title":"Am I extra sensitive to THC?","slug":"am-i-extra-sensitive-to-thc","content":"\"I have been using Rick Simspon oil every day for 9 weeks, for migraine, major depressive disorder and anxiety. There is a natural supplement that you can get at a health food store that is called Citicoline, which can help neutralize the uncomfortable effects of the THC oil. Also, there are a few natural foods that can also help counteract the effects, this info is from Dr. Ethan Russo. Cold lemonade, peppercorns, pine nuts and calamus root.
