With that said, it's helpful yo drink at least two to three liters of water per day in the time leading up to the test. Adding a little lemon, mint, or cucumbers could also help with the detoxification process. \n\nFor more information detoxing cannabis, check out this article on how to flush marijuana from your body!\n\nI hope this information helps! :-) \n\nVeronicaB","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_12263-markdown","title":"Is CBD safe for cats?  Does it relieve pain for them?","slug":"is-cbd-safe-for-cats-does-it-relieve-pain-for-them","content":"\"I think my cat has kidney failure.  Before she came to me she was fed dry cat food.  She now urinates copiously and spends time drinking lots of water.  These past six weeks she's been yowling occasionally; I suspect this means she's in pain.  I live with a disability, such that my financial life is still on the poverty line, so paying for a veterinarian is out of the question.  And anyway, my cat was semi-wild most of her life; she'd be terrified to be facing one or more strange humans, terrified to have human hands touching her, and terrified to wait in a room with dogs and other cats.  And I wouldn't want to give her a synthetic drug, as they have \"side effects.\"\"\n_____________________\nHi there!\nIt does sound like your cat might have a UTI. CBD  might help some with the pain; however, any money spent on CBD would be much better spent on a trip to the veterinarian. Correctly diagnosing  the issue should be the primary concern, not symptom-management. If it were a UTI, the bacteria might reach the kidneys which would lead to very serious consequences, perhaps even death. CBD would do little, if anything, to eradicate any  infection; treating only the symptoms without understanding the cause shouldn't be an option. After two hits, I grew extremely tired, almost like I was going to pass out. My vision took on a red tint and began to obscure, almost to the point of blindness; however, upon drinking a glass of water, my sight returned and the red tint went away almost instantly, although I remained shaky and extremely nervous for the remainder of the night. I did not consume any other drugs besides marijuana that night or the night before. Does anyone know what could have happened to me? Was I in any sort of danger? How can I avoid having this happen to me again? Any information would be greatly appreciated, my thanks in advance.\"\n_____________________\nWhat you describe sounds like the beginning of a \"fainting spell\" from which you recovered before the actual faint.  In otherwise healthy individuals this is usually a transient episode of low blood pressure which resolves on its own when the symptoms force the patient to sit or lie down.  Dehydration is often a contributing factor, and drinking water was probably an excellent idea.  Cannabis itself has no consistent effect on blood pressure, but once the mind and emotions enter the picture changes in heart rate and other significant cardiovascular responses can happen secondarily.  If you do not have any current health problems and are not taking any medications I would not expect this to happen again.  If it does, I would see your physician for evaluation. \n\ndrelkind","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8650-markdown","title":"Is it safe to drink on a long flight having taken CBD?","slug":"is-it-safe-to-drink-on-a-long-flight-having-taken-cbd","content":"\n_____________________\nYes, you can safely do your CBD's but it's the alcohol that maybe the problem. Using CBD's and then drinking alcohol is okay but alcohol impairs your judgment in a time of crisis in case something does happening on the airplane. In the crisis if you have alcohol in your system and you are in the air the alcohol is much stronger and you are very likely to be impaired even with one drink but it is not the CBD's that are the problem. I also severe ADHD so I don't want to make that worse. \"\n_____________________\nHello, There are insufficient research studies on Cirrhosis and Cannabis, in fact, the few studies conducted provide conflicting conclusions. The same is for ADD and Cannabis. I would recommend remaining under the care of your medical providers for Cirrhosis and ADD. However, supplementation with CBD may help. Some studies suggest that Cannabidiol (CBD) may help combat cirrhosis progression by assisting in the death of hepatic stellate cells. Findings also support that CBD can serve as a protective strategy against tissue damage in cirrhosis, by reducing the force of key inflammatory pathway. Anecdotal evidence also suggest that CBD may help in the management of impulsive and hyperactive behaviors associated with ADD.  High levels of cortisol and low levels of dopamine are at the root of many ADD/ADHD symptoms. CBD can reduce levels of cortisol and increase levels of dopamine in the brain, helping manage the symptoms of ADD/ADHD. \n\ntatiananp","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7675-markdown","title":"How much raw cannabis juice should I drink per day?","slug":"how-much-raw-cannabis-juice-should-i-drink-per-day","content":"\n_____________________\nHello. THC-A is what's consumed from the raw cannabis and it is the non-psychoactive precursor to THC.15-20 large fan leaves and a couple of buds per day, which is equal to 500-1000 mg of THC-A is the recommended Daily dose. The worst symptom of all these, combined, is chronic insomnia.  I typically don't fall asleep until 2:30-4:30am, sometimes I don't fall asleep at all and will watch the sunrise. This is after taking multiple types of meds (antihistamine, melatonin, benzos, etc) at about 10:30 at night. I don't drink alcohol or caffeine, nor do I nap during the day, in the hopes that I am able to actually sleep at bedtime.  Nothing works and I'm very concerned about the amount of medication that I'm taking.\n\nI haven't been anywhere near any type of cannabis for almost 30yrs, so I have no clue where to start.  \n\nMy first question is; I live in AZ. Are you doing Sativa followed by Indica? If so, you're just bumping your THC up over and over again and stimulating your brain. When you are doing Sativa and you want to go to sleep, add a healthy dose of CBD and it will combine with a high THC in the Sativa to make an Indica. If you go to sleep and can't stay asleep then you may need CBN. If you have a stressful day I doing courage that you use CBD through the day to help with your sleep at night.\nIf you need additional information, please send it in another question or you can wait and see if I other doctors and answers this question you have posed.\n\ndrolson","image":null}}]}},"pageContext":{"limit":12,"skip":0,"numPages":3,"currentPage":1,"id":5214,"name":"Drink","slug":"drink","country":"US"}},"staticQueryHashes":["3949754563","4179947113","4202924991"]}
