I am wondering the same thing.\n\n\nintent-pipefish-588\n_____________________\nHi there! The Firefly is a fantastic vape, however it might not work well for moon rocks. I spoke with one someone from their Customer Support team and they said it would most likely not work too well because you'd need different temperatures for the concentrate and the dry material.\r\n\r\nI hope that helps!\n\nmelissa","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_6808-markdown","title":"can I use dry herb and oils in the firefly?????","slug":"can-i-use-dry-herb-and-oils-in-the-firefly","content":"\n_____________________\nYes you can! You can put dry herb directly into the glass chamber of the Firefly (a loosely packed, coarse grind works best). For vaping oils, place the included concentrate pad into the chamber first and then add a couple of drops of oil on top of the pad. Make sure to change the heating profile to the Concentrates setting in the app for the best experience. Just a little bit of oil will go a long way. Both experiences are very smooth and flavorful!\n\nRachelDugas","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_6676-markdown","title":"I got the firefly 1, has anyone had success avoiding or relieving","slug":"i-got-the-firefly-1-has-anyone-had-success-avoiding-or-relieving","content":"\"Chronic headaches using Herbal Renewals Cbd oil, with this vaporizer?\"\n_____________________\nI have both the Firefly 1 and the Firefly 2. I don't use concentrates so I can't comment on its use for these, other than I understand that both of them will support concentrates. They come with a little pad that you insert and put the concentrate on.\n\nThe Firefly 2 is a significant improvement over the 1. Much lighter and sleeker.\n\nmark","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_11365-markdown","title":"I heard the Firefly 2 is now available. Some concentrates and tinctures taken orally are also high in heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and lead. You should only use products that have been tested by an accredited, third-party lab and are shown to have safe levels of heavy metals, pesticides, organic solvents, bacteria, and mold.\n\ndrfrye","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_11072-markdown","title":"I own a firefly first addition can I tread in my old one for a firefly 2?","slug":"i-own-a-firefly-first-addition-can-i-tread-in-my-old-one-for-a-firefly-2","content":"\n_____________________\nFirefly offers a 2-year limited warranty. (which by the way are still awesome). \"\n_____________________\nThis is truly a matter of preference-- which, in my opinion, showcases one of the most awesome traits of the Firefly2; it is extremely customizable to an individual's tastes. Speaking just from my own experience, I prefer to experiment a bit with different temperatures and different materials. \n\nYou will find that cigar style puffing may produce more clouds, but it does depend on the material in the bowl. I personally enjoy the relaxing moment of a long, slow, and deep inhale when using flower, and I generally reserve using cigar style puffs for concentrates. But the Firefly2 allows every member of our FireflyFam to personalize their experience. So, experiment away! \n\nI am sure you will find many ways of usage that will appeal to you. And, I am so glad to hear you have had such success with the FF2, and have found a vape you love!!\n\nsuzyl","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_11065-markdown","title":"I have had a chronic cough since childhood. Would using a Firefly vaporizer help eliminate the cough?","slug":"i-have-had-a-chronic-cough-since-childhood-would-using-a-firefly-vaporizer-help-eliminate-the-cough","content":"\n_____________________\nWow- that is really impossible to say. Have you had your cough evaluated by a doctor? What is the reason for your chronic cough? A Firefly vaporizer, is not known as a device used to eliminate chronic cough, so I would have to say that this seems very unlikely.\n\nmark\n_____________________\nThe Firefly is not considered a device to help reverse symptoms of chronic cough. To alleviate the symptoms, please visit a doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment. Preventing chronic cough from smoking can be as simple as just stopping smoking, staying hydrated, and sanitizing mouthpieces before and after use. If your chronic cough persists, I would vape at lower temperatures or completely refrain from using any forms of smoking, including concentrates or vaping. Hope this helps, cheers!\n\nhellome","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_11062-markdown","title":"Would Firefly offer me a discount matching pax if my upgrade involved switching to Fire Fly 2?","slug":"would-firefly-offer-me-a-discount-matching-pax-if-my-upgrade-involved-switching-to-fire-fly-2","content":"\"These are the 2 best hand held vapes and I thank you guys for the heads up on combustion and the breakdown of moving to flower consistency with convection . I have experience with a few different portable dry herb units, and have found that they all have different strengths (i.e: the DaVinci Ascent is a great unit for large groups of people due to it's bowl size.) When deciding to add a Firefly 2 to my collection, what should I expect it to excel most at? Is it more of a personal use vape, a session vape, or something else entirely? Thanks!\"\n_____________________\nGreat question! My favorite use of the Firefly is to vape either by myself or with one or two other people. The Firefly excels at creating very flavorful vapor - so it's great when you are in the mindset to sit and enjoy the experience. \n\nOne bonus of the dynamic convection heating is that your material stops heating when you let go of the touch sensors. This means you can take one or two hits off the Firefly, put it down for a while, and finish your session later. \n\nWhile you can definitely use the Firefly in larger groups, I prefer to choose a few people to join me who will truly appreciate the quality of the experience. I hope this helps!\n\nRachelDugas\n_____________________\nIn my opinion, the best way to use the FF2 is to play with the FF2 :)) Since there are many ways to get its full \"guts\"! It's mainly a vape that you sip and let on the side while you appreciate the taste, amazing that is. There are still some personal tricks to find to fit your usage and your goals. You have to somehow deserve the FF2's full capacity of vapor production. But what is cool with the FF2 is that you can adapt your pace or what you're looking for: session, one-hitter...You're not trapped in an single way of vaping! \nFYI the bowl is not that big so you can't be \"over-medicated\", unless you want to!\nIt's a nice portable vape that I personally use to manage my medication: \"need more\", \"just a sip and I'll be good\" that kind of use...really that type of \"à la carte\" use.\nMy advice would be just to play around with it, you see it'll be fun and you'll be able to really find your sweet spot after a little while! Then sky won't be a limit anymore :))\nHope this helps, take care!\n\nlushid","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_11055-markdown","title":"When will the Firefly 2 units be back in stock and shipping?","slug":"when-will-the-firefly-2-units-be-back-in-stock-and-shipping","content":"\"I ordered a black unit on June 11 and the order page was indicating \"order now for delivery in June\". I called last week and was told all orders were on track to ship in June. The website only updated to \"order now for delivery in July\" just two days ago. In other words, they were accepting orders earlier this week for delivery in June which is a little suspect given I ordered on June 11 and still not recieved. Does anyone from Firefly responding to these questions have any clarity on when units will start shipping again?\"\n_____________________\nWell, it's still June....If you confirmed with Firefly that your order was on-track to ship in June, I would assume that your order will fulfilled in that time frame. It is very possible that due to popularity, Firefly is slightly overwhelmed with orders and processing may take an extra day or two. You also have to take into consideration transit times for the shipping of your package.\n\nperkolator\n_____________________\nWe have another big shipment arriving at our warehouse very soon. We truly appreciate it!\n\nbarand\n_____________________\nIts so tempting to be impatient. I too ordered in June, only to wait a little longer. But I remember that Firefly is a small innovative company and it seems they're overwhelmed with success.
