Hemp CBD Oil or cannabis CBD oil?","slug":"what-is-more-effective-hemp-cbd-oil-or-cannabis-cbd-oil","content":"\n_____________________\nTHC is the psychoactive cannabinoid that is responsible for the high that is associated with marijuana. CBD on the other hand is non-psychoactive, but has plenty of therapeutic uses. Hemp oil is an alternative to medical marijuana for those who are interested in using CBD but are looking to avoid the negative effects of psychoactive THC. The major differences between the hemp plant and marijuana is the difference in concentration of CBD and THC cannabinoids. Generally, the hemp plant contains more CBD than THC, while marijuana contains more THC than CBD. Hemp CBD is a very effective dietary supplement or as a pain reliever. But, USE ONLY Organic hemp extracts and always look for clear labeling. They're both effective. One may be more effective than the other from person to person.\n\nnptherasse","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8250-markdown","title":"Can hemp make you feel dizzy, with poor focus, slow reactions, and inability to concentrate?","slug":"can-hemp-make-you-feel-dizzy-with-poor-focus-slow-reactions-and-inability-to-concentrate","content":"\n_____________________\nHemp CBD is generally safe to use. Can Hemp oil (CBD) be given with this problem?","slug":"breast-cancer-with-a-clotting-problem-on-coumadin-can-hemp-oil-cbd-be-given-with-this-problem","content":"\n_____________________\nThere have not been enough studies don't to indicate that cannabis can increase the chance of bleeding, but it is suggested that you take caution when combining cannabis and blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs, including warfarin (Coumadin), heparin, and clopidogrel (Plavix). Hemp could increase the anticoagulant effect of blood thinners by inhibiting its metabolism. It directly affects the anticoagulant properties of platelets in the blood. Therefore it naturally acts as a blood thinner and should rather be a replacement for blood thinning meds. More studies and understanding of Cannabis oil is needed. The lack of knowledge of how to use medical marijuana effectively leads to the advice of rather not using cannabis oils for patients using blood thinners for their clotting deficiency or other cardiac medical conditions. Please follow up with your primary care provider with this concern and seek his medical opinion.\n\nnptherasse","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8149-markdown","title":"Is marijuana-derived CBD more effective than hemp-derived CBD?","slug":"is-marijuana-derived-cbd-more-effective-than-hemp-derived-cbd","content":"\"I've tried hemp-derived CBD for my back pain and haven't experienced any improvement.\"\n_____________________\nHere is an article from Project CBD on cannabis vs. hemp, very imformative\nhttps://www.projectcbd.org/guidance/cannabis-oil-vs-hemp-oil\n\nPiantaTinta\n_____________________\nHere's the trouble... But cannabis strains can contain different amounts of THC (the psychoactive ingredient) and CBD, which isn't psychoactive and is used for medicinal purposes in a variety of products. Hemp contains almost no THC, but it has high levels of CBD - often more than cannabis. So by mixing, say, cannabis oil and hemp oil, you could get higher levels of CBD than with either one alone. If you're looking for higher levels of THC, though, mixing hemp with cannabis wouldn't be very effective, since the THC content of hemp is typically less than 0.3 percent.\n\njeanmckinney","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7604-markdown","title":"I have dry macular degeneration. A major factor in all retinal disease is inflammation and oxidative stress. Like the brain, the eye also has a barrier to many substances and that includes many medicines. But, that is not true for CBD. It passes into the eye circulation, stops inflammation, prevents abnormal blood vessel formation and prevents the retinal and support cells from dying. I recommend at least 60mg per day. And, in people without MD, an adequate dose of CBD enhances vision immediately improving visual definition in distance vision and color appreciation. Patient should avoid buying new lenses or glasses because they might just have to use their previous eye prescription, at least that is what they tell me.\n\ndrblair","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10066-markdown","title":"Which is better for inflammation and pain from ulcerative colitis, hemp oil or cannabis oil? ","slug":"which-is-better-for-inflammation-and-pain-from-ulcerative-colitis-hemp-oil-or-cannabis-oil","content":"\n_____________________\nHemp and cannabis are very closely related plants but the terms typically refer to very different kinds of medicine. If you are looking at hemp oil the most important piece of information is to look for CBD content (if any). For instance, hemp oil without cannabinoids might be used as a dietary supplement, but hemp oil made from CBD-producing plants can be used for medicinal purposes. Cannabis oil generally refers to oil extracted from cannabis flower, and will contain various amounts and ratios of cannabinoids like THC and CBD. That oil can then be put into various types of medical marijuana products like vaporization oil, topical creams, edibles, etc. For ulcerative colitis, most people find that using a combination of THC and CBD helps relieve symptoms of pain and inflammation.\n\ndrbultman","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9881-markdown","title":"Does Hemp seed oil contain CBD?","slug":"does-hemp-seed-oil-contain-cbd","content":"\n_____________________\nThe overall cannabinoid content in industrial hemp is very low and is not a bountiful source of cannabidiol compared to CBD-rich cannabis (which Project CBD defines as strains that have a minimum of 4 percent CBD).
