Home cultivation will not be permitted as the law stipulates a single, state-licensed supplier to provide marijuana to the state. It's anticipated that one or two Louisiana universities will be selected as the providers. \n\nShould you anticipate visiting California, you can use HelloMD to obtain a California medical marijuana recommendation while you are here. You would then be able to legally purchase cannabis from a CA dispensary/delivery service while in the state of California.\n\nashleigh","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8443-markdown","title":"I lost my embossed medical recommendation from you. The numbers of people who siffer from sleepless nights are huge and this disproportinately affects people over the age of 65. \n\nCannabis is known, anecdotally, to be a great insomnia reliever. THC seems to work best for most people and for some CBD can help with sleep. Unfortunately, there are no statistics to say how many people use cannabis for insomnia as no one is tracking the data and I would assume there is a large number of people who grow their own MM or who buy from the black market as well. \n\nI would assume in Canada the government may have more insight into their population there as medical marijuana is federally legal and regulated at the government level. I can say, without giving numbers, that insomnia along with anxiety and chronic pain is one of the most common reasons people consume cannabis. I hope this helps.\n\n\npamelahadfield","image":null}}]}},"pageContext":{"limit":12,"skip":120,"numPages":41,"currentPage":11,"id":5495,"name":"Medicinal Cannabis","slug":"medicinal-cannabis","country":"US"}},"staticQueryHashes":["3949754563","4179947113","4202924991"]}
