Keep in mind, this program is entirely voluntary and involves extra paperwork and fees on your part. All that is currently required in the state of California to legally purchase cannabis is the doctor's recommendation letter.\n\nashleigh","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8089-markdown","title":"have to finish my medical","slug":"have-to-finish-my-medical","content":"","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8071-markdown","title":"Are there any medical doctors in Colorado who are listed with you?","slug":"are-there-any-medical-doctors-in-colorado-who-are-listed-with-you","content":"\n_____________________\nHi there! Injection can be subcutaneous (into the fat layer under the epidermis); however if there is no hospital-level sterilization of the injection equipment as well as purification/ sterilization of the injected substance there is a risk of cellulitis, necrotizing fasciitis (\"flesh-eating disease\") or worse. If you plan to inject intravenously, you have the risk of infection as well as the possible injection of air or the CBD preparation, thereby causing a potentially fatal embolism. A cannabis researcher at the University of Colorado Springs Dr. Bob Melamede had some additional thoughts why injectable cannabinoids (CBD or other) are probably impossible: http://www.westword.com/news/marijuana-thc-injection-fears-are-idiotic-says-doctor-and-cannabis-expert-5823296 Basically, he's saying the cannabinoid preps are lipophilic, i.e. they don't mix in water, saline, etc; it would be like injecting yourself w/ sap. Thankfully there are much safer means of administering cannabis. Keep in mind not all chemotherapy agents for cancer are given via IV infusion; many are admistered orally. Besides traditional cannabis edibles, there are tincture drops too. Frequent, regular dosing during the day means the blood cannabinoid concentration is kept at a peak. I hope this information is useful\n\ndrpark","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8030-markdown","title":"What medical marijuana product would you recommend for essential tremor?","slug":"what-medical-marijuana-product-would-you-recommend-for-essential-tremor","content":"\"How much and how often should I take it?\"\n_____________________\nCannabis is a very safe herb that is effective for many conditions, including essential tremor. In my opinion the best place to start is a sublingual tincture of whole plant full-spectrum extract. This means that the extract contains many of the cannabinoids, terpenes and other compounds found in the plant (THC, CBD, CBN, CBG, myrcene, limonene, etc.). All of these components work together to provide a synergistic effect, which is more beneficial than any of the molecules in isolation. The sublingual tincture takes effect within minutes and lasts for several hours. You may also benefit from vaporizing, which will is faster onset and shorter duration, giving the ability to fine tune the dose. You might want to experiment with different amounts of CBD, THC and different amounts of decarboxylation. Start with small doses and increase as needed. Cannabis is very safe and unlikely to interact with other medications or foods, and very high doses can safely be utilized.\n\nandrewvanmd","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8027-markdown","title":"Can I qualify for a medical marijuana card if I live in South Carolina?
