The 5 year survival rate is around 95%. Cannabis can help with the symptoms associated with the treatments and also help prevent metastasis, angiogenesis and in destroying cancerous cells. I would try to find a doctor who is open to alternative medicine. It would be best for your son's healing if all parties where in agreement as to the best way to treat the cancer. Cannabis has been shown both clinically and in multiple human studies to help in the side effects of chemotherapy. Laboratory studies and some animal studies seem to suggest his. There are many anecdotal data and stories from patients claiming a cure from cannabis alone. I would not stop any chemotherapy that my oncologist would recommend.
