I’m looking at starting her on Cannabis Oil ASAP. From what I’ve read CBD and THC work best together so I want to start her on 100mg CBD & 50mg THC in the day and 50mg CBD & 100mg THC at night (the night dose as a suppository). Over the month working up to 400mg CBD & 200mg THC in the day (perhaps in 2 doses) and at night 250mg CBD & 500mg THC, continuing that dose for the next few months. Obviously dependent on how she tolerates it. Does that sound about right? These doses are pure,  So for example if the oil is 35% CBD, I’ll give her 100mls for a 350mg dose. \"\n_____________________\nI am very sorry to hear about your mother and I admire your efforts and support.  I highly recommend working with a dispensary pharmacist for the best product, dosage, and administration recommendations to maximize your mother's treatment goals. HelloMD will gladly assist by first consulting with your mother for a medical cannabis card which can occur relatively quickly. Once the card is issued, your mother can register with the state and list you as a caregiver so that you both can work with the pharmacist moving forward. I hope you find this information helpful and best of luck.  \n\njennifernp","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9150-markdown","title":"Since some CBD oils have an unpleasant taste, how can the flavor be masked without diluting the strength?","slug":"since-some-cbd-oils-have-an-unpleasant-taste-how-can-the-flavor-be-masked-without-diluting-the-strength","content":"\n_____________________\nSome people use empty veg/gel capsules from the health food store and put the dose in the capsule to take orally. An enlarged prostate can be caused from a variety of reasons, and one of the more common ones is from a condition called Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy (BPH). Unfortunately there isn't much scientific research exploring the link between the use of cannabis or CBD and BPH. Making some lifestyle changes can improve your symptoms. These include: regular trips to the restroom to empty the bladder, double voiding meaning emptying the bladder twice in a few minutes time, avoiding beverages close to bedtime, not holding in urine when you feel the urge to go, staying active, maintaining a healthy weight, avoiding alcohol and caffeine, eating a healthy diet, increasing lycopene intake, and considering a saw palmetto supplement. Best of luck!\n\ndrjacquelynlew\n_____________________\nHello my name is Thomas Karol , my husband was suffering from liver cancer, and the doctor's told me that there is nothing  they could do to save my beloved husband life. Then a friend told me about hemp oil , i told her that my husband liver cancer was in the last stage that i don’t think the hemp oil will be able to help, and she persuaded me to try, for the love of my husband, i decided to give it a try. I did some research and i found a doctor who helped me with the cannabis oil to cure my husband liver cancer and he assured me that after 3 months the liver cancer will be gone, and For the past one year my husband is perfectly okay and he is free from cancer, if you know any one who is suffering from cancer you can save his/her life by contacting Dr. Brown Nelson via his email : (brownnelson07@aol.com) it worked exactly as the doctor prescribed. A good article is from ProjectCBD.org, here is the link https://www.projectcbd.org/guidance/cannabis-oil-vs-hemp-oil\nFrom the feedback I have had from many members that have used both, CBD from cannabis strains seems more effective.  CBD from hemp lacks critical medicinal terpenes and secondary cannabinoids found in cannabis oil. These compounds interact with CBD and THC to enhance their medicinal benefits. \n\nPiantaTinta","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9135-markdown","title":"Can full extract CBD oil cause dermatitis?","slug":"can-full-extract-cbd-oil-cause-dermatitis","content":"\"I used this oil with success, removing basal cell on my arm and leg. Any sources for more information accrued thru experience or trials?\"\n_____________________\n It sounds like you need to see the Dermatologist and I'm surprised the Gynecologist did not make that referral for you.  The combination of factors you describe, including lack of knowledge regarding the exact ingredients used in making in the preparation you applied, make this a far too complicated problem to advise you about in any detail.  I would not apply anything at all to the area at this point until you get properly evaluated, and the presence of redness leading away from the area implies that you should be evaluated promptly.     \n\ndrelkind","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9104-markdown","title":"Is it safe to take cbd oil with lamictal for absence seizures?","slug":"is-it-safe-to-take-cbd-oil-with-lamictal-for-absence-seizures","content":"\"My son takes 60 mg of lamictal, two times a day. I am not a doctor and don't have experience with this, so please do not take this as medical advice. In the meantime, I hope this information is helpful!\n\nmelissa\n_____________________\nOften parents do use CBD to supplement and/or wean off of traditional antiepileptics.  However, dosing of the CBD can be tricky, and there are known medication interactions between CBD and AEDs, so this is definitely a journey you need to undertake with the full cooperation of your neurologist. It seems that you can get a cannabis recommendation for a minor in your state, you just need to find a physician that will provide you with one. You can read more here, including qualifying conditions: https://www.medicalmarijuana.ohio.gov/patients-caregivers\n\nIf you are visiting CA sometime in the near future, you would be able to use our service to receive a recommendation for yourself, however we do not provide them for minors, so if you want one strictly for your child, you will have to find a service here in CA that offers recommendations for minors.\n\nBest of luck to you both!\n\nmelissa","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9086-markdown","title":"CBD for motor problems in dementia?","slug":"cbd-for-motor-problems-in-dementia","content":"\"I have read this:  (copy paste)\n\n'To treat movement problems (Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s, dementia): 3 to 5 mg of CBD oil per pounds of body weight daily. I give her about 200 mg of cbd and  it works fantastic for her agitation and anxiety but she walks even less now. Should increase the dose? any sugestion?\"\n_____________________\nYou do not say where that quote comes from and I want to be clear that there is no medical literature defining CBD doses for ANYTHING.  CBD is remarkably benign in the human body and there are essentially no reports of toxicity, but at the same time there is no body of clinical studies defining a dosage range for any condition.  Most reports of using CBD for various conditions are basically anecdotal, and the kind of dose-response information you are seeking is still folk medicine, not based on medical science.  It is also not clear to me what other factors might be affecting you mother's ambulation, so the best I can suggest is that increasing the CBD dose is unlikely to cause any adverse effects and if the lack of walking is from CBD related sedation her response will likely be to walk less.  If it helps, then I would not be concerned about a modest increase in dose unless other symptoms appear. \n\ndrelkind","image":null}}]}},"pageContext":{"limit":12,"skip":60,"numPages":38,"currentPage":6,"id":5583,"name":"Oil","slug":"oil","country":"US"}},"staticQueryHashes":["3949754563","4179947113","4202924991"]}
