Thank you! -Ann \"\n_____________________\nI would try the Sublime Sleep Cartridge that contains Melatonin. The strain is ACDC so this paticular one is a 4:1 CBD:THC ratio which provides little psycoactive high and I've noticed that it doesnt make me tired the next day: http://www.sublimecanna.com/\n\nYou can also try the Sensi Chew Insomnia Plus which is CBD plus melatonin: http://truefarma.com/product/sensi-chew-insomnia-plus-pure-cbd-melatonin/\n\nIve noticed that products that contain a lot of THC may leave you feeling tired or hazy the next day while pure CBD products do not seem to have as much of that effect in my opinion. \n\nBartSmart","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9302-markdown","title":"What is the best strain for sleep? Do not want to get high. ","slug":"what-is-the-best-strain-for-sleep-do-not-want-to-get-high","content":"\n_____________________\nCannabinol, or CBN, is the cannabinoid within cannabis that is responsible for the sedative effects. If you are interested in a product to help induce sleep, I suggest a strain that is high in CBN. A nice resource to discuss your treatment goals would be the pharmacist at the dispensary. I also suggest working with a dispensary that lab tests their products. \n\nHope you find my recommendations helpful. \n\njennifernp\n_____________________\nYou may also want to read more about cannabinol, or CBN, in our article covering the non-psychoactive cannabinoid (see link below). According to Steep Hill Labs, having 2.5 to 5 mg of CBN will have a level of sedative effects equal to a mild pharmaceutical sedative like Diazepam. You may want to check out Kikoko's Tranquili-tea, which contains 5 mg of CBN/3 mg THC: https://www.hellomd.com/products/58dc2cfe53635624bf2a4992/tranquili-tea. Though if you're terribly sensitive to THC even at this fairly low dose, then finding a pure CBN product may be better for you. Hope this helps!\n\nlyp\n_____________________\nAs jennernp and lyp have mentioned, CBN is largely responsible for the sedative effects of cannabis. Accordingly, indica strains tend to have higher concentrations of CBN than both sativa and hybrid strains - which is why indica strains have more sedative properties.\n\nAnother way to increase CBN concentration, and therefore sedative effects, would be to age the cannabis. CBN is a metabolite of THC. Thusly, as cannabis ages, more THC is metabolized to CBN.\n\nHere are some strains which are excellent sleep aids: Querkle, Granddaddy Purple, Skywalker, God’s Gift, Afghan Kush and Northern Lights.\n\nHowever, those strains will all get you high if enough were used. It is unlikely that strains with lower THC will be very useful for sleep. This is because, as previously mentioned, CBN is a metabolite of THC. As such, I would recommend that you age any one of the mentioned strains, which would lower the THC concentration while increasing the CBN concentration. Use as little as possible so that you don't get \"stoned.\"\n\ndrkim","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9293-markdown","title":"Can someone recommend something to help sleep that doesn't make you too stoned for first time user?","slug":"can-someone-recommend-something-to-help-sleep-that-doesnt-make-you-too-stoned-for-first-time-user","content":"\n_____________________\nHi there! I would suggest the Dosist Sleep pen. The great thing about these pens is that they are very easy to use for beginners because they're designed for precise dosing. With other vape pens, you kind of just draw until you feel like stopping, and then continue until you get the effect you want to feel. With the Dosist pens, you draw until the pen vibrates, and that lets you know that you've had 1 dose. 1 dose may work for you, or you may need more. You'll have to gauge to see how much you need to fall asleep, but the pens come with some helpful tips and guides. I personally use this to help with my insomnia so I can definitely recommend it, and I do not feel terrible the next day. http://dosist.com/pen-sleep/\n\nI hope that helps, and I hope you're able to get some sleep. :)\n\nmelissa\n_____________________\nI think melissa's answer covers the issue well. The relaxation that supports falling asleep can be a useful effect of THC, but dose matters because too much THC can become stimulating. That is where the CBD comes in, because it has been well shown that the two cannabinoids interact to moderate the THC effects, particularly in this area. It also makes sense to also add cannabis terpenes to the mix, as these are essential oils that have been known as 'calming' in herbal medicine for generations (think 'rose oil'). The product she linked to seems to address all these issues so it is probably worth a try, or a similar preparation now that you know what you're looking for.\n\ndrelkind","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9129-markdown","title":"Can i get a medical cannabis card for my Anxiety, ADHD, and no sleep in the state of Pennsylvania?","slug":"can-i-get-a-medical-cannabis-card-for-my-anxiety-adhd-and-no-sleep-in-the-state-of-pennsylvania","content":"\"my anxiety is so bad i dont leave my house an my ADHD just makes it 10x worse because im hyper all the time but im to scared to go anywhere. I could get drunk off of maybe two beers, high off of one good hit. I have been taking indicas up until 6 months ago when suddenly I started getting incredible anxiety and sleeplessness. Adding to this was a large increase in heat in my body...like hot flashes. \n\nI am a 27 yo F. Now if I take even the slightest amount of weed (have tried different strains) this happens. I can't figure out why this is happening. I hate the idea that I might never be able to smoke again.\n\nDoes this have to do with hormones? Seratonin? It can't be possible to \"green out\" with such small amounts of marijuana...right?\"\n_____________________\nHello there! I'm so sorry that you are having these reactions. However we might be able to do some deductive work to try to figure things out. The more I think about your case, I wonder if cannabis is even the issue. Hormonal swings in estrogen/ progesterone might cause some of the symptoms you describe. Have you spoken to your ob-gyn or regular MD about these issues? Is there any change in diet, stress levels at work, etc? If you think cannabis may be the cause, I might try taking a break for a short time (perhaps a week or so) and see if there is any change in your symptoms. Or another option is to try cannabis but to deliver it in a much lower concentration to your system; you can try diluting cannabis tincture in tea, coffee, juice, or soup and see if this helps. Let us know if any of these ideas lead to any useful findings & best of luck!\n\ndrpark\n_____________________\nBUY CANNABIS \nWe have top quality medical cannabis buds, oil extract, wax, hash and edibles available at affordable prices.
