I am having a difficult time with increasing the dose. Every time I try to increase it, I get extremely sleepy and just have to lay down most of the day. Is there an easier way or are there other ways to increase the dosage without having to ruin my whole day? I don't know if I'm just super sensitive to it.\"\n_____________________\nHello Warrior,\n The two major drugs that the American Cancer Society refer to are: Dronabinol (Marinol®) and Nabilone (Cesamet®) which are THC dominant.THC and CBD work differently at different strengths. They also work differently when combined in various ratios. Ratios range widely from THC dominant to balanced CBD: THC to CBD dominant. Every body also reacts differently to all medications. Finding your optimal dose with an increase of the desired effects with a decrease of unwanted effects is possible. I would suggest to speak with your dispensary pharmacist to work on possibly increasing your THC concentration or about titrating your dose to the optimal level for you.\n\ntatiananp","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10363-markdown","title":"Does CBD cause sleep disturbance?","slug":"does-cbd-cause-sleep-disturbance","content":"\"I'm taking a 20:1 high-CBD tincture in a low dose (.5mg) that is helping my daytime anxiety, but it is disrupting my sleep. I wake up at 3am or 4am and have trouble going back to sleep. Any ideas for how I can tweak the dose for better sleep?\"\n_____________________\nMost people do not find CBD helpful for sleep. Most high CBD strains are sativa strains which tends to stimulate and uplift rather than relax. High CBD is great for daytime but for night time, I would suggest a High THC tincture, but use a low dose. With a low dose you get the benefit of body relaxation without the \"high\". With tinctures you can control the dose very easily. Most of our tinctures use Indica strains which are body relaxing and perfect for sleep. I find for myself THC tinctures help me sleep deeper and longer throughout the night.\n\nPiantaTinta","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10222-markdown","title":"Will cannabis help sleep and anxiety issues?","slug":"will-cannabis-help-sleep-and-anxiety-issues","content":"\n_____________________\nYes cannabis is very helpful for sleep and anxiety. Of course, as a very effective sleep aid, cannabis should help most people who are sleep deprived and therefore reduce the chance of a sleepwalking episode. \n\nHowever, unfortunately in regards to sleepwalking, cannabis extends the restorative deep stages of sleep (stage 3 and stage 4 sleep), which are the same stages sleepwalking most often occurs, thus increasing the chances of a sleepwalking episode.\n\nSimply put, cannabis' effect on sleeping patterns increases the chances of having a sleepwalking episode. Therefore, unfortunately, my opinion is that cannabis would not be a good choice as a treatment for sleepwalking. \n\nFor more information on sleepwalking,\nhttp://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/sleepwalking/basics/treatment/con-20031795\n\ndrkim","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9985-markdown","title":"What can you recommend to calm internal tremors without making me sleepy? First, you should have a sleep study to determine if you have central or obstructive sleep apnea. If you test positive for either you should review your list of medications with your sleep doctor or primary care doctor to make sure none of them are aggravating your apnea. Assuming you have obstructive sleep apnea which is far more common, you should consider a positive airway pressure machine (CPAP). This machine helps keep your airway open at night so you can breathe more easily and get good quality sleep. You should also work with your doctor to treat underlying issues such as obesity or any other airway disease which are often associated with sleep apnea. \n\nIf you've successfully implemented these interventions and already have good sleep hygiene but still have insomnia then you may consider a cannabis product to help with sleep. A low THC Indica derived product, specifically a high CBD low THC oral tincture is probably your best bet. Some cannabis products marketed for sleep contain high THC concentration/doses. Although these products may get you to sleep faster they will likely lead to poor quality sleep since high THC has been shown to cause poor REM sleep. Remember to \"start low and go slow\" when using any cannabis product and carefully monitor if your sleep and daytime fatigue symptoms are getting better or worse.\n\nsankmd","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9771-markdown","title":"Sleep disorder ... exhaustion","slug":"sleep-disorder-exhaustion","content":"\"I need serious help with my sleep disorder.
