Is there a strainnot cause anxiety?\"\n_____________________\nEach strain of cannabis will produce different effects based on genetics, cultivation techniques, method of ingestion as well as dose. High doses of sativas have been known to cause anxiety, while the sedative effects of indica are well known. It is generally believed that the high THC content can be responsible for the anxiety, and that by utilizing higher levels of CBD and lower levels of THC, this anxiety can be avoided. Also, the route of administration, as well as set and setting are all also of importance. Inhaling cannabis (smoking, vaping or dabbing) results in a very rapid onset of effects and this sudden change in conciousness can be startling and may cause anxiety. Therefor when smoking cannabis it is often best to take one small inhale and wait for 15 minutes before taking another. Other administraion methods such as sublingual, edible, rectal and topical can vary significantly in the onset of action and in the duration of effects. Great care should be taken to start with a small dose and increase very slowly. Set and setting refer to the individual characteristics of the user, as well the surroundings, respectively. A relaxed, comfortable and safe environment is often the best place to utilize cannabis. If excessive anxiety dose occur, focusing on slow steady breathing can provide relief, as well as focusing on an interactive task that occupies the mind. No one has ever overdosed on marijuana, and reminding yourself of that knowledge can conforting as well.\n\nandrewvanmd\n_____________________\nCBD strains like ACDC, Valentine X, and Charlotte's Web that have only very small amounts of THC, and varieties with 1:2 or 1:1 THC:CBD, where there is enough CBD available to mitigate the psychoactivity of THC are not likely to cause anxiety. For optimal pain relief, I would consider a 1:1 like Medihaze or Harlequin. You may feel a little buzz that quickly goes away and enjoy pain relief and muscle relaxation without mental impairment or anxiety.\n\ndrfrye","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10920-markdown","title":"What would be the most appropriate %thc and %cbd for HER2+ carcinoma (breast) if using the 60g protocol? She has been working on building her tolerance to get to 1g/day with some edibles, but I'm not sure the exact %. The amount she takes during the day varies depending on what she has scheduled. She's about ready to place another order so I need to know what to get her (strains, cannabinoid profile... any info I can get).\n\nWhich strains (w/ THC:CBD %) are most suited in her case? \n\nWhat is a good dose of THC/CBD in mg for her using the 60g protocol?\n\nSativa, Indica, hybrids or should she have some each??\n\nWhat the THC:CBD % of oils that are marketed as RSO?\n\nThank you for your time!\n\n\"\n_____________________\nBoth THC and CBD have shown promise in eliminating cancerous cells, preventing metastasis, preventing angiongenesis (formation of new blodd vessels in malignant growths) and in supporting the body and mind while undergoing conventional cancer treatment. Many different opinions exist as to the optimal percentage of CBD and THC in the oil. My reccomendation would be to utilize cannabis that has a balance of THC and CBD and that is not too psychoactive or sedating. The exact percentages have yet to be determined and what may be more important is to use oil that is free of solvent and other extranious chemicals. If too much psychoactivity exsists with a certain oil, it would be wise to utilize an oil with less THC.\n\nandrewvanmd","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10909-markdown","title":"Will this product help with soft tissue and tendon strain at elbow from pitching a baseball?","slug":"will-this-product-help-with-soft-tissue-and-tendon-strain-at-elbow-from-pitching-a-baseball","content":"\n_____________________\nTHC(A)/CBD(A) products either as an edible, topical, or vaporized can help relieve some of the pains. For mild injury, the original formula (124 mg THC/THCA/CBD per 2 oz jar) will be fine but for severe pain I suggest the Extra Strength version (248 mg THC/THCA/CBD per 2 oz jar). I am so glad that this question came across my screen today, especially since I have some knowledge of Serotonin.\n\nSerotonin is such an extreme tranquilizer/mood-stanbilizer that going through withdrawls is a REAL issue. Serotonin hits you hard and holds you under for hours up hours. Recovering from that rollercoaster, especially if you have been on cycles for quite some time, can be very difficult.\n\nIt will be extremely important to consult you physician to blueprint your exit strategy from the pills. This would also be a great time to consult your doctor about the cannabis regime that you plan on using to help combat the effects of the previous medication.\n\nI would recommend a strong Indica Dominant/Hybrid straing. Perhaps something like Skywalker OG or OG Kush. These flowers pack a punch that could help to balance out the nasty effects that you would be feeling from coming off of the pills. \n\nIt also may not be the worst idea to mix some good cbd dosages in there as well. The aches and pains that come from withdraws can take a toll on you. This can help to alleviate the pain even more. \n\nAs with most things that are natural and individualized, start slowly. What would be the ideal place/temperature/etc.. to keep my cannabis fresh? \"\n_____________________\nIf you are looking for absolute best solution, then use the food saver machine that vacuum packs. Put it in Mylar material and keep out of heat and direct sunlight. Any air left behind in your container of cannabis will oxidize the cannabis, age, and convert to CBN. Some people are really interested in CBN's effects btw. If you have a lot of plant material, for example, stored in a turkey bag, then it keeps pretty good as long as you twist it tightly. Empirical tests show that cannabis may age, or become oxidized, but really only the outside layer of it exposed most to any light or elements. The cannabis shielded beneath that layer, keeps great potency for a year. Also, if you don't have a food saver vacuum packer, then seal your ziploc bag except for just a small opening on the end corner. Put your mouth over that corner of the bag (not sanitary really), and suck the air out to create your own vacuum and complete the seal quickly.\n\ncheridevine","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10856-markdown","title":"What medical conditions are best treated with Sour Diesel?
