I actually don't know if it'll induce some kind of reaction or  not, I suggest you use products that especially made for such purpose  like CBD terpenes. \n\nTerpenes are responsible to add flavour and smell to products like CBD oil and edibles.\n\nI wanted flavoured fruity flavour in my CBD oil so I mixed it with blueberry OG terp of heartland holistics and it was seriously delicious. \n\nSo I advise you to not mix anything in it without considering a doctor or use the product which was meant to be mixed with your tincture.\n\nsebastianwross\n_____________________\nActually, I agreed with both Andrew and Sebastian.\n\n\nAgreeing with Andrew with this point that you should definitely give a try to mix whatever flavor you like. But you have to make sure that all the flavors you are adding are made from natural ingredients and don't have any artificial flavors or colors.\n\n\nAnd now agreeing with Sebastian that what if you fail? I mean you don't get the proper taste or you accidentally ruin your tincture.\nThere are a number of online stores where you can buy CBD infused products from such as Medix CBD. You should definitely give a try that too.\n\njonathangarcia\n_____________________\nBUY CANNABIS \nWe have top quality medical cannabis buds, oil extract,wax, hash and edibles available at affordable prices. If you don't want to get \"high\" then I would suggest a whole plant tincture like a 2:1 ratio CBD/THC. Since CBD helps to counteract the psychoactive effects of THC, you should not get \"high\" . If 20:1 works well for you, I would say continue.  If you notice any signs of physiologic tolerance (i.e. higher doses needed to achieve same therapeutic response), try altering the CBD/THC ratio slightly and see what this does. I have also seen this in anecdotal evidence as well.  However, given Dr. Olsen's experience with CBD products as well as a receptor phenomenon known as the \"entourage effect\" I might also recommend trying a tincture or topical agent that has a healthy dose of both THC and CBD, perhaps in a 1:1 ratio.  The patient can then experiment w/ other THC/ CBD ratios or even try products that are only THC or only CBD.  I hope this helps!\n\ndrpark","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_9054-markdown","title":"This says it is 1:1 at the top and 20:1 tincture at The bottom. Instead of doing that, is there a suggested tincture to help w/ relief?  If so, what ratio is recommended?\"\n_____________________\nHi there, The short answer to your Q is that yes, cannabis can help reduce stress and promote relaxation, and what research there is that's available now calls out cannabis as a safer alternative than alcohol. See our article linked below. Re: what ratio of a sublingual tincture to consume--that really depends. Every person has a unique biochemistry and endocannabinoid system so what works for one person won't necessarily work for another. Experimenting with various ratios is part and parcel of figuring out what works best for you. For example, I have a few sublingual tinctures I use for different reasons--a high CBD one (18:1) as a daily preventative for migraines, a 1:1 CBD:THC when I'm having migraine attacks (which I use in conjunction w/ a 1:2 vape pen) and a 3:1 CBD:THC tincture I use from time to time. In terms of relaxation, I find a 2.5 mg Kiva petra mint at night to be helpful. Whatever you decide, you'll want to start low and go slow, especially if your tincture is a THC dominant product. \n\nlyp\n_____________________\nAlcohol can have \"stress relieving\" effects, but those effects come at a well known cost.  Cannabis has a much better toxicity profile, essentially none (although taking too much can be temporarily unpleasant), and can reliably produce stress relieving effects.  I highly recommend learning to use it that way as an alternative to alcohol.  The cannabinoid ratio is clearly important in producing the character of the effects, but other important bioactive compounds, like essential oils, also contribute.  This is sometimes termed the \"entourage effect,\" and may explain why some people find whole plant preparations superior to extracts.  Balancing THC with CBD is very important to prevent overstimulation, but beyond that advice it is very much a matter of cautious experimentation to find a preparation that suits the individual.  And it is useful to remember that combining cannabis and alcohol can produce additive sedation or other undesirable effects, so should be avoided or done with extra caution.  \n\ndrelkind","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8980-markdown","title":"Is Essential Tremor helped by CBD tincture?","slug":"is-essential-tremor-helped-by-cbd-tincture","content":"\n_____________________\nHi, this question has been asked here on HelloMD in the past, here is the link with answers from 10 people https://www.hellomd.com/answers/5724b6b85d6afd0008000123/can-marijuana-help-manage-tremors\n\nPiantaTinta\n_____________________\nThere is much anecdotal information about using medicinal cannabis for movement disorders, and the dramatic youtube videos of severely affected patients with Parkinson's disease improving after inhaling cannabis have caught many eyes.  But the clinical use of CBD without any of the other cannabinoids or other components of the cannabis \"entourage\" to reduce essential tremor is not something that has been well studied.  The few reports available do not really support it, eg http://www.mdsabstracts.org/abstract/effect-of-marijuana-on-essential-tremor-a-case-report/ or this Quora discussion https://www.quora.com/To-what-extent-is-CBD-oil-useful-in-reducing-hand-tremors . CBD is remarkably non-toxic so I suggest experimenting to see if it provides any benefit.  If not, perhaps a \"whole plant\" preparations may be helpful.\n\n\ndrelkind","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_8973-markdown","title":"do I need a license to buy a tincture?","slug":"do-i-need-a-license-to-buy-a-tincture","content":"","image":null}}]}},"pageContext":{"limit":12,"skip":24,"numPages":16,"currentPage":3,"id":5843,"name":"Tincture","slug":"tincture","country":"US"}},"staticQueryHashes":["3949754563","4179947113","4202924991"]}
