Yes, it looks like topicals are legal in PA for those with a medical recommendation. Under Act 16 of 2016 (the Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Act or the Act), the term “medical marijuana” refers to marijuana obtained for a certified medical use by a Pennsylvania resident with a serious medical condition and is limited by statute in Pennsylvania to the following forms:\nPill.\nOil.\nTopical forms, including gel, creams, or ointments.\nA form medically appropriate for administration by vaporization or nebulization, excluding dry leaf or plant form.\nTincture.\nLiquid.\nYou can read more here, including the list of approvable conditions for medical cannabis in PA:\nhttps://www.pa.gov/guides/pennsylvania-medical-marijuana-program/#17MedicalConditions\n\nI hope that helps!\n\nmelissa","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7654-markdown","title":"Should i use a cannabis topical or oral treatment for postherpetic neuralgia?","slug":"should-i-use-a-cannabis-topical-or-oral-treatment-for-postherpetic-neuralgia","content":"\n_____________________\nYes, CBD is very effective for all neuropathy and can be used topically and orally. The dose is different for each person so after starting with CBD increase quickly to find an effective dose for you. A target dose for the average person is 60mg but you may need more. CBD will at least reduce any need for other medications. CBD is helpful for neuropathic type pain and is generally non-psychoactive when used topically. Good luck!\n\ndrjacquelynlew","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_7594-markdown","title":"Is there a cannabis topical cream for arthritis?","slug":"is-there-a-cannabis-topical-cream-for-arthritis","content":"\n_____________________\nMy favorite topical cream is made by CannaCare but they do not offer their cream or salve on a website so I do not know how you would obtain the product. I purchase it from Sonoma Patient Group in Santa Rosa but you might be able to have a delivery service find it for you but I do find the 2:1, CBD:THC, works best. I do think the significant issue is that a CBD dominant salve is very effective so you could start with that information in looking for an effective product. I encourage you to use the salve where you hurt but also treat the corresponding area of your spine where the nerves come out for better coverage of you pain problems. \nI also recommend CBD internally like the CareByDesign 18:1 spray in the mouth.\n\ndrolson","image":null}},{"node":{"id":"Question_10475-markdown","title":"What is the best topical for myofascial pain?","slug":"what-is-the-best-topical-for-myofascial-pain","content":"\n_____________________\nI would try a variety of topical treatments by Making You Better Brands. For relief of widespread body pain I would suggest the Xternal Soak -- Cannabis-infused Epsom Salts combined with soothing essential oils. While on the go, the analgesic Spray and/or Roll-on can provide relief within minutes. It's quick and easy to apply and can fit in your pocket. You might also experience relief from the Balm, especially if you have someone rub it into your back and shoulders for an extended period of time. I recently found relief from lower back pain by smoothing Body Wash over the affected area before even getting into the shower. It eased the pain instantly and made it easier to step into the bathtub. It might help with your Myofascial pain, as well. Then adding hot water and slathering it all over enhances healing and feels wonderful. All MYBB products are fast-acting, affordable and contain the healing benefits of full spectrum, whole plant cannabinoids - as nature intended.
