Previously, it would be creating an edible and then going to a dispensary and trying to get them to buy it. In fact you could do that right now, although the edibles market has become very competitive! That said, with Prop 64 passing (I assume you are in CA), there will be a ton of new regulations in place and this will determine what can be sold to a consumer and what can not. I am not able to tell you what those regulations will be as they are being written, but at a high level it will include package safety and a more conservative approach to marketing.
