","slug":"is-mixing-cannabis-and-coffee-a-good-idea","content":"How do you start your morning? For so many Americans, the answer is the same: with a hot cup of coffee. We’re a caffeine-loving nation, where [83% of adults drink coffee regularly](https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2013/04/09/coffee-mania/2069335/).\n\nStill, while a good, old cup of joe is the norm, a new morning trend is emerging—a coffee and cannabis blend. This pairing makes a lot of sense to those who enjoy both regularly: While coffee energizes, cannabis relaxes. People report cannabis mellows out the buzz and jitters that sometimes come with coffee. And it adds something extra, helping them focus even more than with just java alone. \n\nBut what do we really know about this potent combination? New research suggests that these two substances may have unexpected interactions. And instead of complementing each other, coffee and cannabis may actually be working in opposition. \n\nFOLLOW US ON [FACEBOOK](https://www.facebook.com/pg/hellomdcompany/posts/) & [INSTAGRAM](https://www.instagram.com/hellomd_com/?hl=en)\n\n### Endocannabinoids: The Coffee & Cannabis Connection \n\nA new study published in the _Journal of Internal Medicine_ [looked more closely at the chemical effects of drinking coffee](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/29044854) and found a surprising result. Coffee affects the same system as cannabis does: the endocannabinoid system (ECS). But [marijuana and coffee have opposite effects on the ECS](https://www.livescience.com/62034-coffee-cannabis-opposite.html).\n\n[The ECS is a crucial part of the human body, regulating things like our immune system, mood, memory and perception of pain](https://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/59b2191f214a9d000dd6a3fe/do-you-have-clinical-endocannabinoid-deficiency). We have natural chemicals in our bodies called endocannabinoids, which activate this system. Natural plant cannabinoids, like many of the compounds found in cannabis, can also activate this system of receptors. \n\nFor patients with endocannabinoid deficiencies, many issues can arise like problems with the immune system, chronic pain conditions or depression and anxiety. For these patients, cannabis can be a life-saver, boosting activation of the ECS and restoring its vital functions. \n\nRELATED: [DO YOU HAVE CLINICAL ENDOCANNABINOID DEFICIENCY?](https://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/59b2191f214a9d000dd6a3fe/do-you-have-clinical-endocannabinoid-deficiency)\n\nInterestingly, this new study found that coffee also exerts an effect on the ECS. Unfortunately, it’s in the other direction—coffee when consumed in large amounts was found to suppress the body's natural endocannabinoids. \n\nSpecifically, those in the study who drank four to eight cups of coffee per day saw their endocannabinoid levels drop. The specific endocannabinoids that were reduced were consistent with those that decrease during times of stress. \n\nWhile researchers didn’t look at how these chemical changes made participants feel, they hypothesized that the coffee might be leading to increased stress. Whether that stress is a direct result of the endocannabinoid suppression, or the endocannabinoid suppression is a result of the stress, is something that’s still in question. \n\n### Could Coffee Ruin the Positive Affects You Get From Cannabis?  \n \nResearchers are still questioning the implications of this study, as much more research is needed to fully understand the tie between these two substances. Still, they’re hypothesizing that there could be an interaction between coffee and cannabis—but what those effects might be are still unknown. \n\nGiven that drinking several cups of coffee can cause the suppression of endocannabinoids, those consuming cannabis should keep this in mind. It’s entirely possible that drinking coffee with your marijuana might be making the plant less effective. After all, marijuana works by increasing endocannabinoids. This is what provides its positive effects that we know and rely on.\n\nSince coffee can suppress those same endocannabinoids, it’s reasonable to worry that coffee and cannabis might be working against each other. Combining the two may decrease cannabis’s positive effects, or it could mean you need much more of the plant to create the same effects.\n\nIt’s also important to understand coffee’s suppressive role on the ECS if you’re consuming cannabis medicinally. If you already have symptoms or conditions that respond well to cannabis, it’s likely that you’re one of those who already has an underactive ECS. Drinking a lot of coffee could cause further problems by suppressing your endocannabinoids even more. \n\nOn the other hand, if you’re a big coffee drinker and don’t see yourself giving up your brew any time soon, adding cannabis to the mix could potentially help fight against the low endocannabinoid levels caused by your coffee habit. This may help ease the heightened stress response that’s all too common among coffee drinkers. \n\nWhile all of these possibilities make sense with what we know, chemical interactions are complicated. More research needs to be done to fully understand the possibilities. Until we look at what happens in the human body when these two substances are actually taken together, we can’t say for sure how they will interact. \n\nOne thing we do know is that coffee and cannabis can have opposite effects on the ECS. If you’re combining the two, proceed with caution and pay attention to how your coffee/cannabis combination makes you feel so you can tweak it to fit your needs. \n\nPhoto credit: [Nathan Dumlao]( https://unsplash.com/@nate_dumlao)\n\nIf you’re new to cannabis and want to learn more, take a look at our [Cannabis 101]( https://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/56201c206430320006bb0000/cannabis-101-your-quick-guide-to-medical-marijuana) post. Bulletproof coffee is made from a combination of grass-fed butter, coffee and brain octane oil, a specially extracted coconut oil that can be bought online or at many different health food stores. \n\nThe drink combines three blended ingredients to create a frothy coffee beverage reminiscent of a latte. It has become especially popular in recent years alongside the trend of paleo and whole food-focused diets. The creator of bulletproof coffee, Dave Asprey, first had the idea for the buttery concoction when he was in Tibet at 18,000 feet above sea level. He was given a drink made from tea and yak butter that made him feel rejuvenated and energized. \n\nFOLLOW US ON [FACEBOOK](https://www.facebook.com/pg/hellomdcompany/posts/) & [INSTAGRAM](https://www.instagram.com/hellomd_com/?hl=en)\n\nThe self-proclaimed “biohacker” set out to create a drink inspired by that same yak butter tea that brought him energy and mental clarity. He formulated bulletproof coffee with clean coffee beans, grass-fed butter and brain octane oil. The butter gives healthy milk fats without denatured casein, which is present in milk and cream, while the brain octane oil provides benefits to brain function and supports ketosis. The coffee itself is helpful in boosting metabolism and powering your brain through the day. Many health food personalities and celebrities swear by it as a morning boost, without any afternoon crash because of the way the fat allows your body to process the caffeine. \n\nRELATED: [ANTI-INFLAMMATORY RECIPE FOR TURMERIC CBD TONIC](https://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/57573cdebcdaa90007000129/an-anti-inflammatory-recipe-for-turmeric-cbd-tonic)\n\n### Cannabis & Healthy Fats\n\nCannabis isn't a novel addition to coffee or butter. Special cannabis clubs enjoyed coffee spiked with marijuana in Paris in the 1800s. The concoction that they drank, which was made of spices, sugar, butter, cannabis and coffee, came from middle eastern traditions that the men had witnessed and then adopted. \n\nAdding cannabis to your morning coffee can provide you with an easy administration of your medication, and drinking your cannabis bulletproof cannabis coffee helps you better process cannabinoids due to the presence of healthy fats from both the butter and coconut oil. Here's how to boost your morning with cannabis-infused bulletproof coffee.\n\n### Ingredients\n\n* 1–2 cups of coffee of your choice\n\n* 1–2 tbsp brain octane oil or coconut oil\n\n* 1–2 tbsp grass-fed cannabutter* (we recommend you make you cannabis butter from scratch; check out our [HelloMD Cannabutter recipe](https://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/56b27915fe98a1000c000243/diy-recipe-cannabutter-or-cannabis-butter). You can use high-quality grass-fed butter to get the full beneficial effects from bulletproof coffee)\n\n* Any other additions you would like - many people enjoy adding flavorings, like cinnamon or vanilla extract, a sweeter like stevia, or other boosters like collagen peptides\n\n### How To\n\nBlend all of the ingredients together in a blender until the coffee appears frothy. Serve and enjoy.\n\n*Make sure you pay attention to the strength of your cannabutter. You may find that a tablespoon or two of butter is too high a cannabis dose. It may be a good idea to make a less potent batch of cannabutter to enjoy with your bulletproof coffee. \n\nIf you're new to cannabis and want to learn more, take a look at our [Cannabis 101](https://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/56201c206430320006bb0000/cannabis-101-your-quick-guide-to-medical-marijuana) post. Cannabis aficionados around the world have enjoyed sitting down\r\nfor a nice drag and a cup of joe at the same time -- believing that one\r\nwould inevitably enhance the other. So what's the connection between\r\nthese two things? Does drinking coffee actually enhance the effects of a\r\ncannabis high?\r\n\r\n**Caffeine and the Brain**\r\n\r\nCaffeine is the most popular drug in the world. Currently, [85 percent\r\nof the U.S. population](http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24189158)\r\ndrinks a caffeinated beverage, such as tea, soda or coffee, every day.\r\nFound in everything from black coffee to root beer, caffeine is\r\nvirtually everywhere. What's more, people have been using the powerful\r\nstimulant for [hundreds of\r\nyears](http://www.toxipedia.org/display/toxipedia/Caffeine) to combat\r\nafternoon crashes and make waking up a little easier.\r\n\r\nContrary to what most people think, though, coffee doesn't actually\r\n*provide* energy. Instead, the chemicals found in coffee simply [block\r\nreceptors in the human\r\nbrain](http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/285194.php) from being\r\naffected by adenosine, the chemical that makes us feel tired. In this\r\nway, coffee gives the people who love it the strength to power through\r\nthe day.\r\n\r\n**Cannabis and the Brain**\r\n\r\nCannabis contains a complex system of cannabinoids, chemical compounds\r\nproduced by the cannabis flower that offer a wide array of medicinal\r\nuses. One of the most well-known cannabinoids goes by the name of\r\ntetrahydrocannabinol, or THC. THC is a psychoactive compound that bears\r\na close resemblance to anandamide, which is a naturally occurring\r\ntransmitter in the human brain. When cannabis is consumed, it interrupts\r\nthe brain's normal neural process to streamline thought and [enhance\r\ncreativity](https://www.ocf.berkeley.edu/~issues/articles/18.2_Talise_J_Marijuana_1.html).\r\n\r\n**The Monkey Study**\r\n\r\nIn a [2011 study](http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3115444/)\r\nconducted by a branch of the National Institutes of Health known as the\r\nIntegrative Neurobiology Section of the National Institute on Drug\r\nAbuse, squirrel monkeys were granted free access to a lever that would\r\ngive them a hit of THC when pulled. They were also given access to a\r\nlever that dispensed MSX-3, a powerful form of caffeine. At first, the\r\nmonkeys in the study mixed and matched THC with the MSX-3. As the study\r\nprogressed, however, researchers noticed that the monkeys were using the\r\nTHC lever less and less as their concentrations of MSX-3 went up. In\r\nlight of this, researchers concluded that higher levels of caffeine in\r\nthe body interacted with THC in a way that allowed monkeys to consume\r\nless THC while still enjoying the same effect.\r\n\r\nIn addition to validating the connection between coffee and cannabis\r\nthat aficionados have known about for years, the study also found that\r\nwhen the monkeys consumed large amounts of caffeine in concert with high\r\nconcentrations of THC, they experienced more addictive symptoms, making\r\nit [more difficult for them to quit\r\nTHC](http://www.medicaldaily.com/drinking-coffee-and-smoking-pot-caffeine-dosage-impacts-marijuanas-effects-337848).\r\nWhile this data is limited to findings from animal studies, it's\r\npossible that this addictive behavior may be present in humans as well.\r\n\r\n**The Outcome**\r\n\r\nCurrently, the monkey study is currently the best body of data\r\nscientists have surrounding the topic of caffeine and cannabis. From it,\r\nresearchers deduced that while the chemicals in caffeine don't actually\r\ninteract with THC to *improve* a cannabis high, they can prolong it.\r\n\r\nWhen consumed together, coffee supplements the effect cannabis has on\r\nthe brain, thus prolonging the chemical high produced by the\r\npsychoactive compounds contained in cannabis. Because cannabis and\r\ncaffeine both trigger the reward centers of the brain, consuming them in\r\nconcert can be a very pleasant experience. Cannabis users should be\r\naware, however, that while marijuana addiction is very rare, it's\r\npossible that maintaining a heavy caffeine-and-cannabis routine can make\r\nit harder to put cannabis aside down the road.\r\n\r\nAs a side note. Some people are predicting that the marijuana market in the US will reach $60B; which is about 5 times larger than the market for coffee in the US (at $11B).\r\n\r\n[Photo Credit](https://www.flickr.com/photos/lupilis/8694008393/in/photolist-efg4Nr-9HjXYk-cB9YT9-CrJLGj-jddJoG-9yZmz6-9soRP4-eoQpwC-zpb9zz-9gREcB-fFTHCY-doygR6-dX3FvQ-8bYveY-oQxenm-naooin-df7q4x-ovHESs-jPCwG6-cbsvrd-ftX57f-gPyc64-e3bumP-jt85Yw-vQmKM-7Z7cAA-9hnXzF-b9Re3D-r3fNji-jGdpjR-dBJjYL-f5GS8Y-auuNAC-gm6wjo-duwZBF-e63s1h-cKCGJw-bndTkP-bwmawk-pq8z6t-qECPTE-cAZreS-oXsSR4-m3zrMt-RJEzr-duy4cH-nNWvAm-9WdE1E-dKyz98-csyXC5)\r\n","image":{"childImageSharp":{"fluid":{"base64":"data:image/png;base64,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","aspectRatio":1.4285714285714286,"src":"/static/45673ff6da1781ee1a12100c71def50e/ee604/b7de0c4be4eeed247f0a8592fc5bf2e7.png","srcSet":"/static/45673ff6da1781ee1a12100c71def50e/69585/b7de0c4be4eeed247f0a8592fc5bf2e7.png 200w,\n/static/45673ff6da1781ee1a12100c71def50e/497c6/b7de0c4be4eeed247f0a8592fc5bf2e7.png 400w,\n/static/45673ff6da1781ee1a12100c71def50e/ee604/b7de0c4be4eeed247f0a8592fc5bf2e7.png 800w,\n/static/45673ff6da1781ee1a12100c71def50e/5ff0a/b7de0c4be4eeed247f0a8592fc5bf2e7.png 940w","srcWebp":"/static/45673ff6da1781ee1a12100c71def50e/58556/b7de0c4be4eeed247f0a8592fc5bf2e7.webp","srcSetWebp":"/static/45673ff6da1781ee1a12100c71def50e/61e93/b7de0c4be4eeed247f0a8592fc5bf2e7.webp 200w,\n/static/45673ff6da1781ee1a12100c71def50e/1f5c5/b7de0c4be4eeed247f0a8592fc5bf2e7.webp 400w,\n/static/45673ff6da1781ee1a12100c71def50e/58556/b7de0c4be4eeed247f0a8592fc5bf2e7.webp 800w,\n/static/45673ff6da1781ee1a12100c71def50e/01a89/b7de0c4be4eeed247f0a8592fc5bf2e7.webp 940w","sizes":"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px"}}}}},{"node":{"id":"Article_1932-markdown","title":"Cannabis Coffee and Tea - A New Frontier in the Edibles Market","slug":"cannabis-coffee-and-tea-a-new-frontier-in-the-edibles-market","content":"HelloMD sat down to chat with Jill Amen, co founder of [House of Jane - Jane's Brew](http://www.houseofjane.com/), to learn about her company’s fast and furious rise within the cannabis-infused edibles market. House of Jane offers a variety of high-end gourmet coffees, teas, hot chocolates & edibles to a wide variety of cannabis consumers. To date, Jane's Brew is offered in 127 dispensaries across the state of California and has been a trending brand since winning their first award at the Hempcon conference in 2014. Jill is upbeat and passionate about the Jane’s Brew product line and is a strong believer in and advocate for the medicinal benefits of cannabis.\n\n**What was the inspiration for starting Jane’s Brew?**\n>My grown son Trey and I were in Amsterdam a few years ago and I was very inspired by the coffee houses there and the array of cannabis products that were offered. However, I don’t like to smoke pot. So what I really wanted was to find a method of ingestion that made sense to me. I don’t have a sweet tooth as I don’t eat sugar, so I thought, ‘What do I drink every day?’. That’s when it hit me, I drink coffee and tea and that this could be a great vehicle for a cannabis-infused product. When we came back to the States I started to do R&D for our product line and to get back into the industry and well, here we are today! We started out in 2014 and did a very soft launch that year with a small group of clubs in the Orange County area. Afterwards, we did our actual launch in January 2015.\n\n**Soon after you launched, Jane’s Brew won an award at Hempcon. You have been going through the stratosphere ever since that happened, right?**\n>Yes, thank goodness! One of the products we entered into Hempcon was our [creamer](http://www.houseofjane.com/#!janes-brew-cannabis-non-dairy-creamers/c1ld); everyone loves our French vanilla creamer. I think it was the regular hot chocolate that won. We invested so much time and energy in creating our products right before we even launched and we continue to make adjustments along the way. This is an interesting industry and an interesting time. There are a lot of little things that happen in our industry every day. I believe the saying is ‘every 3 weeks in this industry is 6 months [in any other]’. \n\n**Do you feel that your product is a good introduction for people who are trying cannabis for the first time?**\n>Yes, absolutely. We are conversing with patients all of the time. They want to know and understand the benefits of cannabis, especially those who are trying it for the first time. Many people are intrigued by the consumption of cannabis through our coffees and teas because it seems like a very natural way to take medication. We do get a lot of feedback from people who have tried our products who say, “Oh my goodness, I am so glad you are here.” It makes me feel really good to hear the positive feedback.\n\n**Since you have started, whom have you found to be your target demographic?**\n>Our core demographic is people like you and me, people in the forty plus market. We are professionals, we are busy with some stress in our life, and we have families: that is our target market.  Also, a lot of our target market hasn’t even tried cannabis yet, or doesn’t even know what [CBD (cannabidiol)](https://www.hellomd.com/health-wellness/55e12afb6539390006040000/cbd-oil-breaking-the-stereotypes-of-cannabis) is. Our goal is to educate people and let them know what the positive effects of CBD may be for them. Many of our products are CBD-focused without any psycho-activity at all. Many people do not realize that you can take cannabis for medicinal reasons and not get high or stoned. When we launched, I knew that we would hit a slightly older demographic because of interest in wellness as well as experience with illness. The one thing that did surprise us is that people in their 20s also seem to really appreciate and seek out our products.\n\n**Do you associate your products as being helpful for any specific illnesses?**\n>We have stayed away from all claims. I believe that as more people are educated about cannabis they will absolutely understand how our products can be helpful to them and their condition specifically. In terms of education, we want to teach people about the benefits of consuming edibles verses inhalation, but we don’t talk about specific illnesses.\n\n**A lot of your products have a high CBD component, with that I’m assuming some of your products may have higher levels of THC as well. How do you go about dosing a tea or coffee beverage practically?**\n>Our products come in multiple doses. For example, our [chamomile tea](http://www.houseofjane.com/#!janes-brew-cannabis-infused-teas/c1gh9) comes in 20mg tea bags. The first time, someone may want to share a glass of that 20mg, or put half of it away for the next day. You can also brew the tea in a communal format. Say, I am having a 420 evening with other medical patients, I may brew a 200mg container of tea, but I’ll make 12-20 servings out of that when I add ice and dilute it some. \n\n>Our new bottled beverages are coming out dosed at 80mgs. In the future we want to include a small dosing cup in the package so people can actually measure out a unit to try it before they continue to drink the rest of the bottle. Secondly, we have a CBD version of the bottled product that will come out soon, as well as a 20mg bottle.  We introduce by market demand, 80mgs is not a very high dose for most of the market we are serving at the present time.\n\n**There is a lot of negative media these days surrounding the edibles market and the potential problems with dosing. Do you find that putting yourself in the category of edibles is beneficial to Jane’s brew?**\n>The truth is that we are classified under edibles because our cannabis products are consumed orally. I have often thought about coining my own name for our beverages as a new category in the market. I have a few ideas, but I haven’t done anything with it yet. So at this point in time, our goal is to best educate people regarding the benefits of our edibles and how to dose appropriately. \n\n>The most important thing I think we do is to educate the bud masters who are responsible for selling our products in the dispensaries. We do not want our product abused or for people to have a bad experience. In everything we publish, we talk about beginning with doses as small as 5-10mgs per serving, waiting at least an hour, then evaluating if dosing needs to be adjusted. Our [Jane’s Brew Oath](http://www.houseofjane.com/#!join-janes-army/c209p) is really our philosophy that encompasses all of these ideas. \n\n**Could you explain the Jane’s Brew Oath philosophy for us?**\n>I think there is an element about who Jane is; Jane is a very free, but responsible, spirit. We ask that people, if they choose, to take an oath for responsible consumption of cannabis. We believe people should have a right to do what they choose, as long as it is not harming others. They should have an opportunity to be inspired, creative, energized, and strive for wellness. They should also be very responsible when communicating this message with others. Essentially, I would say that is a lot of what the message is about. It is all to enjoy the benefits of cannabis. \n\n\n**Do you do laboratory testing on the products you bring to market? How do you manage the consistency of your products?**\n>We triple lab test our products using three different labs because it is very important to us to make sure that all lab results are consistent with one another. We test at our oil stage to make sure the product is calibrated for what we understand the percentage of components to be and for microbes and other additives. Our second level of testing is at powder stage, we convert all of our oils to a powder form for the manufacturing of our product, where we test for similar components as the first stage. Lastly, we test at the finished product level. We post lab results every month--not all of them, however, because we have far too many--on our website so people can look at the results and feel secure that our products are free of pesticides or microbial issues. \n\n**Do you feel that rigorous lab testing sets you apart from some of the other product companies out there?**\n>Yes and no. I think the industry is changing quite a bit. I think that anyone who wants to be taken seriously in the market will lab test. The dispensaries that we work with require lab testing and will lab test independently themselves. It’s important for the health and safety of our consumers.\n\n**What are your favorite products from Jane’s Brew?**\n>I love our bottled products, especially the unsweetened ones because I don’t drink sweetened tea. For the evening, my favorite beverage is our chamomile tea. Every night I drink a cup of chamomile tea and watch some TV, then I head to bed and I am ready for a good night’s sleep. The tea is very natural and herbal; there is never a hangover when you wake up after drinking cannabis tea like there is with some sleeping pills. \n\n**Where can people buy Jane’s Brew products?**\n>We have our products in127 different dispensaries, as far north as Shasta and all the way down to San Diego, and everywhere in between. We also work with a delivery service that distributes to  individual patients in California regardless of their location. So if you go through our website it will take you to an online ordering page. \n\n**Wrapping up, is there anything else you would like to say?**\n>I really think people need to educate themselves. They can go on our site or a number of quality sources online to learn more about cannabis. It is not only about Jane’s Brew products, patients should know what products are and understand them before medicating.\n","image":{"childImageSharp":{"fluid":{"base64":"data:image/jpeg;base64,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","aspectRatio":1.3333333333333333,"src":"/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/14b42/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.jpg","srcSet":"/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/f836f/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.jpg 200w,\n/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/2244e/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.jpg 400w,\n/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/14b42/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.jpg 800w,\n/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/47498/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.jpg 1200w,\n/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/7d1a7/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.jpg 1218w","srcWebp":"/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/58556/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.webp","srcSetWebp":"/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/61e93/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.webp 200w,\n/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/1f5c5/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.webp 400w,\n/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/58556/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.webp 800w,\n/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/99238/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.webp 1200w,\n/static/0158bc7747c1b1913e8aec7798aafcee/cedc7/5c80a3c9f01bf0fb14049b5ec91aae08.webp 1218w","sizes":"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px"}}}}}]}},"pageContext":{"limit":12,"skip":0,"numPages":1,"currentPage":1,"id":5036,"name":"Caffeine","slug":"caffeine","country":"US"}},"staticQueryHashes":["3949754563","4179947113","4202924991"]}
