Why does the most potent vape oil still not hit you like one bong hit??

I would question what vape oil you are getting. I make an effort to experiment back and forth between oils and flowers for their different effects and a standard pen cartridge's oil may not come on as strongly as a bong hit, however the "most potent vape oil" would surely cause even the most experienced cannabist to feel the effects.

I would guess that the delivery of your cartidge is not as good as it could be or your oil is diluted and not as potent as advertised.
